Search Credits are specific to the account of origin. If your company has several users with accounts set up, please call or email us, and we can manually transfer the needed search credits to a different user’s account with the original purchaser’s authorization.
Once you are signed into your account, click on the “My Account” button in the top right of the screen. On the left hand side, click on “User Information” and make any necessary changes.
Yes, you can change the email address on your account by clicking on the “My Account” button in the top right of the screen, and then going to “User Information” on the left hand side. Please note that by changing the email address for your account, the new email address will also become the new log in for your account.
For your security we do not have access to any users’ password information. On the log in screen, please click on “Forgot Password”, and you will be prompted to reset your password.

Once submitted, search parameters may not be changed. Please double check your selections before hitting “Submit”. If your search does change after submitting, please contact a DAKdirect Search Consultant, and we’d be happy to discuss the change, adjust the search parameters, and update your candidate pool results.
Once search credits are purchased, you will automatically receive a receipt from Authorize.net for any credit card payments; some users prefer to pay by check and will receive an invoice which will act as your receipt. You are also able to look at your payment history under “My Account”. Once a candidate is placed and a Success Fee becomes due, any invoice copies or receipts would need to be handled by a member of our Concierge staff directly.
All of your past searches are located on your “My Account” page. Click on the “My Account” button in the top right of the screen, and go to “My Searches”. Here, you will be able to see searches that are currently active as well as searches that have already been completed.
DAKdirect is dedicated to the US domestic Financial Services business. Client companies will be able to access professionals ranging from several years of industry experience on up to C-Suite and Board level. Because our site is dedicated to US domestic Financial Services, it would be extremely rare for a search to produce no results. However, this could occur due to “overselection/overcoding” of desired qualifications and attributes or a request around an obscure credential, license, and/or geographical locale. In most cases, less is more when it comes to successful coding inputs. A DAKdirect Search Consultant is always on hand to provide guidance around coding inputs, and to help you narrow down your selection fields.
DAKdirect was created to help you to make key hires within your organization, as well as to help you to benchmark internal candidate choices. Based on your objectives, it is possible to not make a hire using DAKdirect. For this reason, a success fee is only due upon hire. In the case of unique or specialized search needs, it is quite possible that a custom retained search may be the best form of action. In the event that a DAKdirect Candidate is already in your interview process for the specific role that you engaged DAKdirect’s services for, we would not seek a success fee in the event of their hire for that role.In the event that a DAKdirect Candidate is already in your interview process for another role in your organization, but not the specific role that you engaged DAKdirect’s services for, DAKdirect will lay claim to that candidate’s origin and a success fee will be due.
In the event that a DAKdirect Candidate is already in your in-house recruiting database, but has not been officially engaged by your firm for the specific search that you are seeking to fill, DAKdirect will lay claim to that candidate’s origin and a success fee will be due.
In the event that a DAKdirect Candidate has been already submitted by a third-party staffing agency for the specific role that your firm originally engaged DAKdirect, we would not seek a success fee. However, if said staffing firm presented a candidate for another role within your organization, DAKdirect will lay claim to that candidate’s origin and a success fee will be due.

Fee and Policy Questions
Our success fee is structured to be reasonable, simple to understand, and transparent. Should a hire be affected through DAKdirect, the fee will be 20% (twenty percent) of base salary only (including a draw arrangement in place of a base salary), with a minimum fee of $15,000. We do not bill on total estimated cash compensation, including guaranteed bonuses, sign-on bonuses, equity or stock grants/options, relocation allowances, or other forms of compensation in addition to base salary.
If you have purchased a Premium bundle of 10 searches, the cost of the individual search credit, or $400, will be credited against the success fee upon the hire of a DAKdirect candidate, and shall be reflected in the invoice. Please see our Success Fee Structure for further details.
Our background check includes a Credit check, Criminal Record check, DMV check, and Education verification. This background check is complementary for for Premium clients; for Standard clients, the cost is $100 per background check.
Within 12 months of a DAKdirect candidate’s last scheduled interview, the success fee will be payable if a candidate is hired for any position within the Client or Client subsidiary, sister company, or joint venture, unless hired through other sources.
DAKdirect is our Intellectual Property and our mapping, coding and website are not to be copied. We are happy to create Custom Mapping programs for clients. DAKdirect candidates are our intellectual property and may not be re-purposed in Client’s internal database or referred elsewhere. Client has full right to include any candidates in their database, including DAKdirect candidates, if they are referred through other sources.
